Over the years I have made many trips to Europe to examine harpsichords in both private homes and public collections. In the early days I was fortunate to closely examine, measure, photograph and play instruments that are now guarded behind glass.
I retain a wealth of detailed photographs, plans, rubbings, scalings and scantlings of all of the harpsichords that I base my instruments on today.
